An Iconic Toronto hotel will be home to Reese Witherspoon’s Book Club pop-up in January and February.

On Jan. 12, Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel will launch Reese’s Book Club, marking its only stop in Canada, and a month-long residency in the hotel’s newly-renovated lobby.

This will be the second installation of Reese’s Book Club x Sheraton Lobby Library following the program’s debut in Los Angeles last October, which brought hundreds of avid readers and book lovers together.

As part of the experience, guests and locals are invited to peruse the full back catalogue of Reese’s Book Club favourites, alongside local book selections, and are free to read inside the Lobby Library or buy copies to take home.

“We’re thrilled to be part of this collaboration with Reese’s Book Club, the Internet’s biggest book club, and bring our communities together through a shared love of reading,” Tim Reardon, area general manager, said in a statement.

The official program launches with a “Popcorn & Pages” event from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Jan. 12.

On January 23, the Lobby Library will host the program’s signature “Beyond the Page” speaker series, featuring Reese’s Book Club author, New York Times best-selling author, and Toronto native, Marissa Stapley.

A guided Book of the Month discussion event will take place on Jan 31.

The full calendar of events is available here, and includes activities such as “Cup of Calm,” “Bingo & Bubbles” and “Chapters & Charcuterie.” The pop-up will run until Feb. 12.

“Following the successful launch of Reese’s Book Club x Sheraton Lobby Library, we are thrilled

to take this special program to Toronto, further uniting our global communities and inspiring even more conversation through the joy of reading,”   Hello Sunshine CEO Sarah Harden said in a statement.
