The Luminato Festival has ditched its authors series of onstage interviews to put the emphasis on talks with artists and thinkers. But you can hang out with writers at Luminato’s Literary Picnic, where over 60 scribes on three stages read from their work and explore the subject of “beginnings” – how to get started on a story. Trillium short-lister Tamara Faith Berger, Farzana Doctor and Shyam Selvadurai are among the authors on hand at Trinity Bellwoods Park on Saturday (June 22). See Readings, this page.
