There’s always been a political bent to how Toronto electronic collective Lal have approached their career, so it’s no surprise that their upcoming R3D Caravan Tour is framed around the idea of using music as a way to build communities to better fight oppression.
While it’s not completely clear exactly how that aspect will be expressed at the Garrison this Thursday (March 7), the afternoon workshop and performance on Sunday at the Academy of the Impossible gives a clearer picture of the strategy.
To help build some buzz for the tour, Lal are premiering a new video with NOW for the song Steady, which you can watch below. And while you’re at it, here’s a free download of a new remix for the song.
