WHO: Steffi DiDomenicantonio, actor/singer, top-five finisher in Canadian Idol competition
WHERE: The Esplanade
WHEN: Thursday morning
CLOTHING: “My outfit comes courtesy of the awesome stylists at Canadian Idol, Roz Griffith Hall and Sandra D’Angelo. These have to be the best shoes ever, because they have laces and bows. I got them from Capezio ($150, 70 Bloor West, 416-920-1006). The tutu skirt is from FX ($200, 515 Queen West, 416-504-0888). My leopard-print shirt is from Urban Outfitters ($30, 235 Yonge, 416-214-1466). I wanted to wear something for Rolling Stones week that was true to their style what’s better than that? My punk jacket is from Due West ($350, 431 Queen West, 416-593-6267). I wore it when I did a cover of It’s My Life, by Talk Talk. I like bows a lot – I have all kinds and put them anywhere that works. When I was on Canadian Idol, people tried to convince me not to wear them, but they’re my trademark!”
HAIR: “Nikki, Ryan, Trevor and Justin while I was on Canadian Idol. They even put hair extensions in, too. I usually go to Studio Jade back home in Ottawa.”
MY STYLE: “Pearls, frills and bows.”
INTO: “Singing, acting and jazz and tap dancing my puppet show company, Puppets and People – we perform for children at summer camps and birthday parties writing plays – I recently won first prize in a province-wide French playwriting contest watching movies and plays and listening to all kinds of music.”
