A LOTTO MAX ticket worth $70 million sold in Scarborough has not yet been claimed and is set to expire next month.

The lottery ticket will expire on June 28 unless the rightful owner claims the prize at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) before the approaching deadline, according to a news release on Tuesday.

The winning numbers for the LOTTO MAX ticket, purchased nearly one month shy of a year ago, are 8, 19, 22, 41, 42, 46, 47 and bonus 10.

OLG says the individual buyer or group’s identity is unknown because the ticket was purchased at a lottery retailer.

However, there is a review process to determine ownership of winning tickets by OLG once they are claimed.

In the case that the winning ticket’s rightful owner is not found, the $70 million prize will be returned to players through future bonus games or promotions, according to OLG.

OLG is urging Ontarians that believe they may have purchased the winning ticket to check everywhere, from their clothing pockets, handbags, backpacks, wallets to vehicle’s glove compartments, sun-visors, kitchen, bedroom and office drawers.

The winner can contact OLG at 1-800-387-0098, confirm on the OLG app or visit a self-checker at a lottery terminal at an authorized retailer.

Information about this ticket and other unclaimed tickets can be found on the OLG.ca’s unclaimed tickets page.
