DESCRIPTION:Walk for Values was founded in Toronto in 2003 as a grassroots community initiative originating in the Malvern area of Scarborough. \nThe initiative began with the vision of bringing people together across cultures\, faiths\, and communities through the shared practice of universal human values. \nWhat started as a local community walk has since grown into a nationally and internationally recognized movement. \nWalk for Values event returns for its 18thWalk in Toronto. Walk for Values is a free\, family-friendly\, non-monetary community initiative dedicated to promoting universal human values and strengthening communities through positive individual action.The mission of Walk for Values is to promote and practice the universal human values of: \n\nTruth\nRight Conduct\nPeace\nLove\nNon-Violence\n\nThe initiative encourages individuals to not only learn values\, but to actively live\, share\, and demonstrate them in everyday life to help create safer\, kinder\, and more compassionate communities. \nUNIQUE APPROACH \nUnlike traditional walkathons or community events\, Walk for Values is not a fundraiser. \nParticipants are encouraged to make a personal pledge to practice a positive value in their daily lives — reinforcing the belief that meaningful social transformation begins with self-transformation. \nRegistration  https://walkforvalues.com/registration-toronto/
