DESCRIPTION:It’s time to celebrate innovation\, design\, and community at the annual King East Design District (KEDD) Neighbourhood Hop\, organized by DesignTO. \nThe KEDD Neighbourhood Hop returns as an opportunity to explore the district\, and learn about the products on show at 8 participating “Neighbourhood Hubs.” Offerings span from furniture\, lighting\, and decor\, to kitchen appliances and sustainable surfaces for architecture and design. Enter a space of soft glowing illumination combining textiles\, fine crafted metal\, rattan and bamboo with oceanic inspired accents where attendees feel the influence of the pending full blue moon.\nCandace & Basil presents a design-forward experience\, highlighting luxury furniture crafted in Canada\, where quality\, comfort\, and customization converge.\nHoused in the historic Upper Canada Bank\, Central Design Market and Cafe aims to bring design and community together in a space that inspires them.\nCosentino City Toronto presents the Maitake table by Patkau Architects\, a demonstration of its Ēclos surface material brought to life through design\, with remarks from John Patkau alongside Cosentino leadership.\n‘Sip and shop’ at Design Within Reach Toronto to experience exceptionally crafted\, built-to-last\, and the best in authentic modern design.\nDuring a celebration of design with cocktails\, light bites and live music\, EQ3 offers a sneak peek of new products\, with EQ3 President\, Head of R&D\, and others in attendance.\nOpen house at KPMB Architects\, an award-winning studio that designs transformative spaces that shape cities\, communities and the built environment.\nSub-Zero\, Wolf\, and Cove Showroom offers an elevated\, hands-on experience where visitors can explore and learn about Sub-Zero\, Wolf\, and Cove appliances in a fully operational kitchen space.\n\n––– \nThe ‘King East Design District Neighbourhood Hop’\, presented by DesignTO\, is supported by the Old Town Toronto BIA. \nDesignTO is a charitable arts organization celebrating 16 years of designing a sustainable\, just\, and joyful future.
