DESCRIPTION:The 27th Annual GWN Sport Regatta returns to Marilyn Bell Park on Saturday\, July 18\, 2026\, bringing a full day of high-level racing and waterfront energy to Toronto’s lakeshore. This one-day regatta attracts both competitive and recreational crews\, delivering a fast-paced schedule of racing that highlights the intensity and teamwork at the core of dragon boat sport. \nTwenty paddlers move in unison\, combining strength and teamwork in a boat whose elaborate design originates from ancient China. Social groups and businesses alike embrace the sport because it builds camaraderie\, forms connections and promotes healthy lifestyles. \nAdmission to this family-friendly event is free\, races will begin at approximately 8:30am and will continue throughout the day. Festival grounds will offer a variety of activities for all participants and spectators. Grab a bite from one of our Food Trucks\, enjoy a cold one in the Beer Garden.  For all your shopping needs\, stop by the Marketplace\, wander through the Health & Wellness Zone featuring exciting local products and services to assist in leading a healthy lifestyle. \nNew teams and individuals are welcome!
