SUMMARY:(Dis)Connected - an Art Party
DESCRIPTION:Join us at our next Art Party\, (Dis)Connected\, in collaboration with JriferS dance collective on Sun March 29 at Pia Bouman in Toronto’s west end. \nArt parties are gatherings in which art displays\, happenings and performances blend into an experiential event. Wander\, socialize\, mingle\, explore and become immersed in/inspired by art. \nFeaturing Art by:JrifterSProject AmbidanseFox C ShantyRenee FrigaultErika LuiLucy RupertMC CruzWolf WilliamsonMav Movesdaria baiocchiSare Thorpe… and more? \nDoors at 1:30pm with performances beginning at 2pm and happenings scattered throughout the afternoon. There will be a cash bar with snacks and non-alcoholic drinks available. \nTickets are $25+HST. 100% of ticket sales (after taxes and fees) go to the participating artists.PWYC tickets are available if needed. The event will take place in Studio A (https://www.piaboumanschool.org/studio-a)\, which is a large open space with dance flooring throughout\, as well as in the adjacent lobby.Through the front entrance there are three steps to get into the lobby\, and then an additional three steps to get from the lobby to the studios. If organized in advance there is an alternative entrance through a garage door at the back of the building that has worked for folks using assistive devices in the past\, but it is not a fully level entrance or deemed officially accessible. Please feel free to reach out directly if you have any specific questions or concerns. There are multiple non-gendered\, but non-accessible washroom. We regret that we are not able to offer ASL interpretation or Audio Description for this event.
