New Traditions: Island Music and Arts Festival

The first annual New Traditions: Island Music and Art Festival was held on the grounds of the Artscape Gibraltar Point on Toronto Island, Saturday June 30th.

The independent artist-run festival featured 12 straight hours of live music, site-specific outdoor art installations, performances, folk dance workshops, a puppet slam and lots of fresh food.

Here we have The Elwins and then The Slocan Ramblers on the stage set up right on the beach at Gibraltar Point.
