What to do today: Tues. May 20

Panda Bear, Ai Weiwei and Coco Guzman

Animal Collective’s Noah Lennox hasn’t released a new Panda Bear record since 2011’s Tomboy (though you may have more recent memories of him from Daft Punk’s Doin’ it Right, on Random Access Memories). But the good news is he’s previewing his new album to fans on tour this spring. Tonight, he’s at the Opera House. Details here.

Those of you looking for something a little more low-key should check out the newest documentary about Chinese artist Ai Weiwei, playing at the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema. Norm Wilner’s review of Ai Weiwei: The Fake Case is here.

Coco Guzman is a queer Spanish artist now living in Toronto, and the Demonstration is an installation that immerses the viewer in the artist’s dreams of revolution.
