Up in the ether at the international auction houses, the mega-bucks may be drying up, but local galleries and arts orgs are preparing to entice buyers into the game at reasonable prices. You can't go wrong if you buy what you or your giftees love.
Whodunit? Mystery Art Sale The twist in OCAD's sale of 5½-by-7½-inch, $75 works is that artists' identities are only revealed after purchase. The art can be previewed now online or at the art college, where the sale happens Saturday (November 22) from 10 am to 4 pm. Creative Works Studio This project of St. Michael's Hospital facilitates the artistic endeavours of people with long-term mental illness, exhibited in Breaking Down The Walls.
