Timber Masterson may not have much of an internal editor (or a literary one for that matter) and he’s not the first to write a confessional about being an addict. But his book Timfoolery: Tales Of A Third Rate Junkie ($25, Peppermint Hall) has unusual energy and is pretty entertaining – if you can manage his manic, basically undisciplined style.
