Drake just gave Toronto its first taste of what an Iceman tour could look like. The hometown rapper surprised fans during Don Toliver’s Scotiabank Arena concert Monday night, performing three tracks from the album live for the first time.
The Toronto rapper opened his mini-set with “Shabang,” followed by “Burning Bridges,” before closing things out with his No. 1 Billboard hit, “Janice STFU.”
“It’s my first time performing the album since it dropped,” Drake told the crowd.
The performance has fans wondering whether Drake may finally be preparing to take Iceman on the road. As of Tuesday morning, no tour dates have been announced, and there are no current listings of upcoming Drake concerts.
Still, his first live performances from the album have given fans another reason to believe a larger announcement could be coming.
Don Toliver gives Drake his flowers
After Drake finished performing, Toliver took a moment to recognize the Toronto artist’s influence on his own career and the wider music industry.
“I appreciate you for inspiring us all. You know damn well this sh*t wouldn’t be this sh*t if you ain’t do this sh*t… You inspire me, you inspire all of us,” Toliver told him.
Drake returned the praise, thanking Toliver for inviting him onstage and recognizing the year the Houston artist has been having.
“I love this thing that we do so much. In front of the city, I just want to thank you for keeping this sh*t alive. You had an incredible year,” Drake said.
The hometown artist also made sure to show Toronto some love before leaving the stage.
“I know we share a second home,” Drake said, referring to the pair’s ties to Houston. “But this is the greatest city in the f***ing world.”
Toliver’s Aug. 31 concert was the only Canadian stop on the newly added second leg of his Nitrous – Octane World Tour. It also marked his second performance at Scotiabank Arena this year following an earlier Toronto show on June 5.
Could a Drake and Don Toliver collaboration be next?
The onstage link-up has also added to speculation that Drake and Toliver could have an official collaboration in the works.
Both artists are known for blending rap with melodic R&B, making a joint track between the two a natural fit. With Toliver continuing his Nitrous rollout and Drake appearing to tease even more music, fans are watching closely to see whether their Toronto moment could lead to something in the studio.
Drake has already been fuelling speculation about his next move through several cryptic social media posts.
On Aug. 12, he shared a post captioned “FOMO 2026.” Days later, on Aug. 21, he posted an image of a black CD case labelled “Fear of Missing Out.”

The teasers arrived just months after Drake unexpectedly released three albums — Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour — at the same time on May 15.
It remains unclear whether Fear of Missing Out is the title of another album, a visual project, a tour or something else entirely. Drake has not announced a release date, tracklist or format.
