Although Grzeda has been posting trending videos for her Instagram and TikTok pages for over two years, she only switched to filming her now viral “I’m Elle from Elle’s Cafe” videos in April. She has been posting once a week consistently since then — rain or shine, or snow.
In recent weeks, Grzeda’s antics have drawn attention from major Canadian political and cultural figures, including internet personality Justin Danger Nunley, the mayor of Regina, and rock band Down With Webster.
In a video from July 4, she is seen teaching Regina mayor Chad Bachynski her now-famous introduction, telling him, “when you get out there, you gotta scream it as loud as you can.”
“It’s a beautiful day here in Regina, Saskatchewan! You gotta tell them, it’s a beautiful day.”
Bachnyski is later seen in the video putting Grzeda’s coaching to good use, mimicking her iconic intro line for line.
She went viral yet again at the end of July when she filmed a video with Canadian rock band Down With Webster, who was in the Regina to play a show at the Queen City Exhibition.
“Life has a funny way of coming full circle. Growing up, and till this day, Down With Webster has been the soundtrack to so many memories,” Grzeda wrote on the Instagram video.
“We never would’ve imagined that one day we’d be spending the afternoon together in our hometown of Regina, Saskatchewan filming a video, sharing some laughs, and making a few new memories together.”
‘I’m flying to Saskatchewan myself’
Grzeda’s brand of chaos has made her a local icon in the eyes of Canadians who can’t stop watching her videos, which regularly receive over 25 thousand likes.
One Instagram user commented on her video with Bachnyski, “Elle out here literally making Regina, Saskatchewan a globally recognized community 😂 truly spectacular.”
Another comment on an earlier video from June reads, “I swear to God if I see many more of these videos, I’m flying to Saskatchewan myself”
While her lively videos are clearly advertisements for Elle’s Cafe, many people have applauded her for the creative marketing, with one comment reading, “Hahaha I gotta be honest — this may be the best marketing I’ve seen in a while — I want that ice cream now “
