Book lovers, Indigo is back with its annual book giveaway. Select one of five free Heather’s Pick titles, available in both English and French.
On Saturday, Sept. 12, Canadians aged 18 and over can find their next great read for $0 at any local Indigo, Chapters, or Coles store in Canada.
A maximum of 10,000 free books from Heather’s picks will be available while supplies last.

The Shadow of the Wind
Immerse yourself in a story full of secrets, love, and obsession. The Shadow of the Wind is a literary mystery set in postwar Barcelona, where a young boy discovers a book and realizes it may not have been forgotten, but intentionally destroyed. “In a world where algorithms are actively being designed to diminish our focus and ability to disconnect, reading time can slip away,” Heather Reisman said in a press release. “Which is why this year’s giveaway feels especially meaningful – it is our invitation, to anyone who has drifted, to come back to the page.”
