Netflix has an updated website dedicated to highlighting shows filmed in Canada, including Toronto and Ottawa, and new titles have been added to the list!
The Netflix in Your Neighbourhood website has received a makeover making it easier for movie and TV buffs to navigate the shows on the streaming site that feature Canadian landscapes, communities, venues, stores and more, by allowing fans to see where exactly certain scenes were shot.
The updated site, which was initially launched three years ago, comes with new features including a fully-integrated map, a new events page and improved search filters, allowing users to search by city and province, and filter by title.
Four new shows featuring Canadian locations have recently been added to the site: The Madness, Geek Girl, Hot Frosty and Meet Me Next Christmas.

These films feature food hotspots, cozy accommodations, popular landmarks and Instagramworthy locations across Toronto, Hamilton, Dundas, Oshawa, Brockville and Ottawa.
Here are some more details about the films and which Canadian locations you can expect to see in each of them.
The Madness
Media pundit Muncie Daniels (Colman Domingo) fights for his innocence and life after he stumbles on a murder in the Poconos woods. Daniels also strives to reconnect with his estranged family in order to survive. The limited series was filmed in Toronto and surrounding areas, including Hamilton, Dundas and Oshawa. As for the scenes shot in Toronto, they include Elgin and Winter Garden Theatres, Ritz Restaurant and Underpass Park.
Geek Girl
This comedy series features Harriet Manners whose life is turned upside down after being thrown into the fashion world. Filmed in Ottawa, Manners has to deal with tightly wound agents, off-beat designers, high heels and the other quirks and drama that fashionistas tend to face.
Hot Frosty
For those seeking a festive film, Hot Frosty features scenes shot in Brockville and Ottawa that might catch your eye. A widow named Kathy magically brings a charming snowman to life two years after losing her husband. With his ability to make her laugh, feel and love again, the two fall for each other during the holiday season.
Meet Me Next Christmas
Despite the setting of this movie being in New York City, this film was entirely shot in Toronto. Layla (Christina Milian) races through the Big Apple to find a ticket to the sold out Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert in hopes of a fairytale romance with the man of her dreams.
