The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is entering its seventh day, with highly-anticipated stars hitting the red carpet and incredible screenings taking place on Thursday.

The Man I Love
Location: VISA Screening Room at the Princess of Wales Theatre
Time: 1:45 p.m.
The Canadian premiere of 2SLGBTQ+ drama The Man I Love is taking place this Wednesday at TIFF, following the story of Jimmy, a New York-based actor and performer who is dying of AIDS in the 1980s. The premiere is bringing some of its incredible stars to TIFF, including:

The Only Living Pickpocket in New York

Another Canadian premier happening today is for the movie The Only Living Pickpocket in New York, a crime drama that follows a craftsman pickpocket that steals from a man connected to a crime family, and needs to venture the city to escape. Some expected talent to attend it include:

The Liberation
Location: Royal Alexandra Theatre

Inspired by filmmaker Guy Nattiv’s grandmother, the historic drama The Liberation tells the story of an assistant banker who finds ways to cope with anxiety following some family issues, until a mysterious client walks into her bank, offering an opportunity to join a secret organization. Expected talent to attend the movie’s Canadian premiere are:

Based on the assassination attempt against South Korean President Park Chung-hee, suspense The Assassin(s) follows a group of journalists and police who attempt to uncover a conspiracy. Talent to attend the world premiere on Wednesday include:

Neil Peart: No One’s Disciple

The world premiere of a documentary film on Canadian musician and songwriter Neil Peart is also happening on Wednesday. The film follows Peart’s four-decade history with Canadian trio Rush until his death in 2020. Talent that will be coming to the red carpet include:
