Toronto R&B duo dvsn is hitting the road for a special limited tour — and of course, they’re stopping in the city that started it all.
Commemorating the 10-year anniversary of their debut studio album Sept. 5th, the pair, composed of frontman Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85 are going on a six-show run in select North American cities.
Taking over Massey Hall, the Toronto show is set for Mar. 27, the same day the album dropped in 2016.
The group announced the tour on Instagram on Tuesday afternoon. “It’s starting to feel like 2016 all over again,” they wrote in the caption, adding that they want to celebrate the project that “connected us all together.”
The remaining five tour stops are in American cities, which include Atlanta, Houston, Chicago, Brooklyn and Los Angeles.
The 10-song album that put dvsn on the radar almost one decade ago was recorded entirely in Toronto, primarily at non-profit creative hub The Remix Project.
Since then, the duo now has a total of four studio albums, their most recent being Working On My Karma in 2022, and additionally, a collaboration project with Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Ty Dolla $ign titled Cheers to the Best Memories.
Presale tickets begin on Thursday, Jan. 22 at 12 p.m., while general on sale kicks off on Friday, Jan. 23 at 10 a.m.
