The 27th Annual GWN Sport Regatta returns to Marilyn Bell Park on Saturday, July 18, 2026, bringing a full day of high-level racing and waterfront energy to Toronto’s lakeshore. This one-day regatta attracts both competitive and recreational crews, delivering a fast-paced schedule of racing that highlights the intensity and teamwork at the core of dragon boat sport.
Twenty paddlers move in unison, combining strength and teamwork in a boat whose elaborate design originates from ancient China. Social groups and businesses alike embrace the sport because it builds camaraderie, forms connections and promotes healthy lifestyles.
Admission to this family-friendly event is free, races will begin at approximately 8:30am and will continue throughout the day. Festival grounds will offer a variety of activities for all participants and spectators. Grab a bite from one of our Food Trucks, enjoy a cold one in the Beer Garden. For all your shopping needs, stop by the Marketplace, wander through the Health & Wellness Zone featuring exciting local products and services to assist in leading a healthy lifestyle.
