Harvey is a former Urban Planner with the City of Toronto with specialties in social policy, research, and demographics. He finished his career after 35 years as Manager of the Social Policy and Research Unit. His ancestors have been a part of the Toronto landscape since his Great-Grandfather arrived in the 1880’s to be one of the first Chinese families to settle in Toronto.
