ABURI SUSHI at Waterworks with Chef Ryotaro: Matsutake and wagyu.

For a single evening on October 21, ABURI SUSHI at Waterworks Food Hall welcomes Chef Ryotaro Matsuzaki for a nine-course matsutake and wagyu shabu shabu tasting in downtown Toronto, presented as part of the restaurant’s monthly hotpot series that runs once a month on Tuesdays. Seatings are at 6 pm and 8 pm. Tickets are $125 per guest plus tax and gratuity, with an optional A5 Miyazaki wagyu upgrade. Chef Ryotaro will be on site to interact with guests throughout the evening. The dinner celebrates peak season matsutake, Aburi technique, and guest-centred service in an intimate format with limited seats. Guests can purchase tickets HERE.

Diners will begin with delicate small bites and sashimi, move into a fragrant tableside shabu shabu centred on matsutake and wagyu, then finish with refined temaki and a clean dessert. The menu balances comfort and craft, showcasing premium ingredients with precise execution.
