African Fashion Week Toronto

The official launch of #AFWT2023 will take place on Friday, August 25th, where Yonge Dundas Square will be transformed into a fashion and diversity celebration. The vendor’s experience in the square will begin at 4:00 pm, giving local vendors the opportunity to grow their business in the Toronto community. The long-awaited AFWT runway show will begin at 4:00 pm and feature more than 10 high fashion designers from Canada and abroad, showcasing their premium collections at the Square with free admission.

On Saturday, August 26th, AFWT is proud to welcome back the King of Couture, Adebayo Jones, for a one-of-a-kind Couture Experience at Golive TV Studios. Reception for the Couture Experience will begin at 5:00 pm, and the couture show will start at 7:00 pm sharp.

To wrap up #AFWT2023 on Sunday, August 27th, the organization will be hosting a Lookbook Day Party. This event is an opportunity to party fashionably with industry influencers while listening to the best in music, from Afrobeats and Amapiano to Dancehall, Hip-hop, and more. The party will take place at Spaces Toronto: Loft + Rooftop Patio, with doors opening at 3:00 pm and the party
starting at 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
