It’s a bold, original work that’s already won acclaim across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
A Montreal-based saxophonist, flutist, clarinetist, composer, and arranger, Benjamin Deschamps won the top prize at the Festi Jazz de Rimouski in 2013, was named Radio-Canada’s Jazz Discovery of the Year in 2017-18, and took home the TD Grand Prize at the Montreal International Jazz Festival in 2019.
