We’re featuring a live acoustic duo hitting some covers with some clout. Cynthia Tauro & Kintaro. Tauro is a Toronto-based vocalist, pianist, and songwriter who has been performing in Toronto and southern Ontario for over a decade. Blending pop, soulful grooves, and jazz, she has been collaborating with Canadian icons including Josh Trager (Sam Roberts Band), Thom D’arcy (NOBRO), and Moose (Jesse Reyez). Cynthia released her debut solo album Moments and is now working on a new project, TAURO, in collaboration with Brendan Canning of Broken Social Scene. Kintaro, is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer based in Toronto, Canada. He graduated from McGill University with a degree in jazz bass performance, which shaped his involvement in numerous projects in the Canadian music scene. Notably, he was a founding member of Alt-Folk band Birds of Bellwoods where he wrote, produced, and performed numerous records amassing over 20 million streams.
