Building Emissions – Your questions answered

Toronto City Council is considering a Building Emissions Performance Standard (BEPS) for large existing buildings which would set an emissions limit and catalyze the installment of clean heating systems, like electric heat pumps. This will significantly reduce Toronto’s pollution and make it possible to meet the city’s climate targets.
