Jay’s music will come to life like never before, performed by a 4 piece live band of Toronto young heavyweight musicians, led by Stuart Brignell on Sax, Flute and Vocoder, Darryl Joseph Dennie on Keys, Sean Dennis on Bass and Jon Catanus on the Drums.
There will be a live vinyl DJ set opener at 7pm by Gil Masuda
This evening you will hear a blend of well known Jay Dilla classics, along with deep cut, rare beats that most have never heard.
All this music will be set to the lovely, japanese inspired backdrop of Rooms Coffee at 915 Dupont featuring unparalleled cocktails and small bites for you to enjoy while listening to this “one night only” special performance in honour of Jay Dillas birthday weekend.
