This February, the Women’s Art Association of Canada presents Connections, a group exhibition exploring the relationships and bonds that shape our lives — between friends, family, community, and the world around us. Featuring selected works by 23 WAAC artists, the exhibition highlights how connection manifests across emotional, social, cultural, and personal experiences through a wide range of visual practices.
Participating artists include Agnes Bellegris, Olga Olesya Bondareva, Maggie Broda, Marsha Brown, Huan Chen, Joan Davies, Ulla Djelweh, Deniz Ergun Seker, Kate Greenway, Audrey H. Smith, Win Keenan-Kuplowsky, Margaret Kittel Canale, Sharon MacLennan, Marjorie Moeser, Olivia Quain, Piera Pugliese, Svetlana Romashchenko, Ziba Salehi-Rahni, Ted Scott, Nina Silver, Janet Potter, Meral Altinbilek, and Julia Yakobi, whose diverse approaches and perspectives create a thoughtful and engaging dialogue around the theme of connection.
Selected works will be exhibited at The Dignam Gallery, creating a vibrant showcase that invites viewers to reflect on togetherness, shared experience, and the bonds we hold dear. Join us for the opening reception on Valentine’s Day, February 14, from 1–4 pm, to celebrate art, community, and connection.
