The first of a season series celebrating 35 years of the Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra, in which the three ensembles of TYWO are joined by some of the TYWO alumni who have gone on to make a successful career in music.TYWO brings together young people to encourage and develop their musical skills in rehearsal, performance and on tour. Within three auditioned ensembles, musicians are challenged with a broad variety of repertoire and friendships are forged.The TYWO program promotes the essence of teamwork and builds confidence and interpersonal skills within a safe, barrier-free environment, open to all. Our product is music; our goal is to instill a lifelong relationship with music into the lives of our musicians and our audiences.
