the night’s silence is spoken by the moon
In DIE NACHT/DER MOND, The Happenstancers link contemporary miniatures, theatrical recitation, and sensual Romantic chamber music.
This diverse collection of works evokes the unsettled, twisting atmosphere of dreams, and paints dark images of the night. With sudden shifts in colour and mood, and flashes of the familiar juxtaposed with moments of disorientation, DIE NACHT/DER MOND leads the listener into a sensual world of night-characters and delightful grotesqueries.
