April 18 @ 6:00 am8:00 pm

On Saturday, April 18th* a band of volunteers – elders, artists and earth-lovers – will walk and dance 25 kilometres through the streets of Toronto in a vibrant, art-filled sidewalk parade. They will carry a giant globe of the Earth to inspire and engage citizens on the need for a renewable revolution in Ontario. The day will start at 6:00 AM at Bluffer’s Park Beach with a sunrise celebration led by Indigenous elders Cat Kriger and Sally Gaikezheyongai and end at sunset at the Humber Bay Shore Campfire sculpture with fun-filled stations at parks along the way. Find us at East Lynn Park, Withrow Park, Bloor and Avenue Rd, Matt Cohen Park, Christie Pits and High Park. Each stop will feature live performances, art-activities and more! To catch the parade, head to a Globe Walk Station near you! Join the celebration, gather with your community and recharge your hope this Earth Day.
