Four Centuries/Berlin-Montreal-TO” predicts a wonderfully varied program as Music Director Nurhan Arman leads Sinfonia Toronto and two virtuoso guest artists in the orchestra’s first concert of the new year. A cheerful Mozart Divertimento will open for the new Fantasia ‘Conjure You’ by Toronto composer/producer David Jaeger. The brilliant Quebec cellist Noémie Raymond will play one of the best-loved works for her instrument, the Saint-Saëns Cello Concerto No. 1, and Berlin Philharmonic oboist Cristoph Hartmann will appear in two beautiful works, a new concerto by Toronto composer Norbert Palej and JS Bach’s Oboe Concerto in D minor.
