Gather in the Garden: A 1920s Picnic at Spadina

June 14 @ 12:00 pm4:00 pm

$18
A woman in a white dress and two women in black and blue dresses holding lace fans, standing outdoors in a garden with greenery and a decorative stone railing.

The 1920s picnic is coming to Spadina Museum on June 14 – a slightly scaled back version of the yearly garden party, giving guests the chance to step into the Golden Age of Jazz music for an afternoon they won’t soon forget, featuring live music, swing dancing, vintage fashion, and picnicking on the mansion’s sweeping lawn.

This retro-themed afternoon affair will feature performances from local acts Ben Harvey and His Ornamentals and Shraddha Pai & the Hot Cakes, while swing dance lessons will be provided at various times throughout the day, led by Swing Toronto.

What to know:

  • The 1920s-themed picnic returns to Spadina Museum on June 14 with live music, swing dancing, and vintage-inspired fun
  • Guests are encouraged to dress in Roaring Twenties attire while enjoying picnics, lawn games, a costume parade, and mansion tours
  • Advance tickets are $18, with day-of admission priced at $20 through the City of Toronto website
