In its 35th anniversary, revisit one of John Waters’ most beloved and hilarious films. It’s Baltimore, 1962, and rebellious “pleasantly plump” teenager with the biggest bouffant on the block, Tracy (Ricki Lake) hopes to be one of the featured stars on a popular dance show and win the coveted “Miss Auto Show” crown as she fights against racial discrimination. Featuring an all-star cast of Waters favorites (Mink Stole, Divine) and pop icons (Debbie Harry, Sonny Bono), Hairspray is a riot in a beehive hairdo, still primed and ready to go off 35 years later.
