For the love of Winter, and the joy of community, Northcrest Developments is bringing Hangar Skate back to YZD, the former Downsview Airport lands. Running December 19, 2025 to February 16, 2026, this much-loved seasonal tradition continues Northcrest’s mission to offer free, high-quality experiences that bring people together, inspire creativity, and transform one of Toronto’s most unexpected spaces into a place for everyone.

Holier 12: Available sizes – Child (6–13), Youth (1–5.5), Adult (5W–13M)
Helmets: Required for ages 12 and under
Helmet Rentals Available for a Fee, free for children under 12: Available sizes Youth S–L, Adult S–L available
Skate Sharpening: $5 per pair (for personal skates)
Admission: Free – advance booking required at yzd.ca/see-and-do/winter-at-yzd day Session: December 19, 2025 – January 4, 2026 (Closed December 25)
