Heritage and Change at King’s College Circle Walking Tour

Historic church building at King’s College Circle in Toronto showcasing heritage conservation and urban change.

Learn about the history, art, architecture, academic and social impact of the historic core of the University of Toronto.

This tour will be led by Heritage Toronto volunteer Douglas Wooster. Doug Wooster is interested in Toronto history, architecture, green spaces and people. He is an educator and a photographer.

Start Point: Alumni Gate U of T (155 King’s College Rd)

End Point: Alumni Gate U of T (155 King’s College Rd)

Length of Tour: Approximately 90 minutes

Distance and Terrain: This tour is approximately 1.5 kilometres in distance and takes place predominantly on paved city sidewalks and streets. There are some unpaved portions of the route that take place in city parks.

This tour uses individual audio headsets. All registered participants will be provided with an individual headset that will allow you to hear the tour guide throughout the tour.
