Thirteen-year-old pianist Angela Yixuan Miao, Grand Prize winner of the “Yannick Nézet-Séguin” award, performs Chopin’s beloved Piano Concerto No. 2 at the Jane Mallett Theatre. Prokofiev’s shimmering Visions Fugitives and the Ontario premiere of Brent Straughan’s My School Has a Graveyard lead into the warmth of Tchaikovsky’s Music from Swan Lake, Rebikoff’s Christmas Tree Waltz, and the Canadian premiere of Amine Soufari’s Algerian Dance; all under Maestro Nurhan Arman.
