Discover the fascinating qualities of Silverpoint, a drawing medium favoured during the Renaissance by old masters such as Leonardo Da Vinci and Albrecht Durer. Participants will create a Silverpoint drawing of a leaf onto a prepared board that will develop warm brown tones as it ages. Beginners welcome.
Each attendee will receive a silverpoint stylus, a prepared 5×7 board and guided instruction with fascinating historical insight!

Artist and conservationist Alan Li uses pencils and paint to document the wonders of the natural world. Alan’s mission is to build connections to nature through art based education. Since 2015, he has been partnering with non-profit environmental organizations to teach nature focused art programs.
