Born in Kinshasa, DRC, Jonathan Nvita grew up immersed in music through church, community, and family influences. Following the legacy of his late father, a choir conductor and guitarist, he developed an early passion for harmony, rhythm, and storytelling.
His artistic voice sits at the intersection of African rhythmic languages and contemporary jazz improvisation. Jonathan’s music bridges tradition and innovation—combining Congolese rhythmic depth, jazz harmony, vocal textures, and world-fusion arrangements. Whether performing in intimate venues or on festival stages, he delivers immersive experiences grounded in authenticity, cultural exchange, and musical excellence.
