Landslide by Rock Bottom Movement is a surreal contemporary dance work exploring parenthood, desire, expectation and doubt. Choreographer Alyssa Martin skillfully blends post-modern dance, biting theatricality and an original score with humor and joy.

Rock Bottom Movement’s full-length work, Landslide, brings together divergent perspectives on parenthood, channeling biological desire, expectation and doubt into the body as a site of big questioning. Surreal, aggressive and surprising, Rock Bottom’s contemporary choreography smashes patriarchal norms with fusion of post-modern dance and biting theatricality. Set to an original composition by Jacobi Vanderham and Britta Johnson inspired by Fleetwood Mac’s iconic ballad, Landslide pulses with the question of whether, or not, to usher in a new generation.
