We warmly invite you to join us in commemorating Msko-mjigoodenh Giizhigad (Red Dress Day) on May 5, 2026. This important day honors and raises awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+). It is a time for remembrance, reflection, and collective action to acknowledge the lives lost and to stand in solidarity with Indigenous families, communities, and nations.
As part of this year’s commemoration, we will host a Msko-mjigoodenh Zhinoomaagewin (Red Dress Exhibit), which will feature over 100 dresses and be on display from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Afternoon programming will take place on the main stage starting at 1:30 PM.
