The directors behind Oscar-winning documentary, No Other Land return with a searing film that turns its investigative lens to the systems behind Israel’s military campaign in Gaza. Clandestinely filmed at night from rooftops in Tel Aviv, NAZA reveals testimony from Israeli military insiders examining how technology and intelligence protocols have shaped the war. Building upon reporting done by The Guardian, +972 Magazine and Local Call, the film takes its title from a military acronym used to indicate the number of civilians expected to be killed in an airstrike. NAZA premiered in competition at Venice, where it received the Special Jury Prize.
In Hebrew and English, with English subtitles.
