NEAPOLITAN ICE CREAM: THE MUSICAL

November 13 @ 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm

NEAPOLITAN ICE CREAM: THE MUSICAL is a celebration of the immigrant journey — told through song, story, and a scoop of ice cream.

Inspired by the true story of Italian immigrants destined for North America but diverted to Scotland in deceit, 16-year-old Caterina, sails from Naples for Canada and is stranded in Scotland, where heartbreak became the invention of Neapolitan ice cream. Iconic Italian songs — O Sole Mio, Santa Lucia, Core ‘Ngrato, O Mio Babbino Caro — woven through dramatic English storytelling, performed live by four generations of Italian-Canadian artists: first-generation classical guitarist Tonino Chiodo, creator Loredana Cunti, 18-year-old third-generation organetto player Bruno Monardo, and fourth-generation soprano Reilly Bianchi-Nelson.

The night ends in a live organetto gelato reception with the whole audience sharing a scoop of Neapolitan ice cream together.

Friday, November 13, 2026, 7:30 PM (90 minutes), Joseph D. Carrier Art Gallery, Columbus Centre, 901 Lawrence Ave. W., Toronto. $45 adults / $40 seniors & students. Presented with Villa Charities and Loreworks Ltd.
