Madonna, baseball and the Blue Jays’ mascot all in one place? That’s exactly what’s happening Wednesday night at David Pecaut Square.
As part of Downtown Movies in the Park, co-presented by the Toronto Downtown West BIA and TIFF, this week’s free outdoor screening is A League of Their Own (directed by Penny Marshall, 1992) – and this one’s going to be special.
With Madonna’s newly released Confessions II generating buzz – and Toronto’s love of the Blue Jays and baseball always in full swing – we’re turning the pre-show into a Madonna-inspired celebration. So whether you’re a fan of Madge, the Jays, or just want a fun night out, there’s something for everyone:
