Representation of disability on the big screen is hard to find, so we took matters into our own hands. PIFF was founded in 2017 by Pegasus Community Project, a Toronto non-profit providing day programs to adults with developmental disabilities. It was an instant hit! PIFF empowers our community to create and star in their own movies. It’s a celebration of creativity, diversity, and fabulousness.
Seven PIFFs later, our movie-making family includes Community Living Cambridge, DramaWay, Addus, Montage Support Services, KW Habilitation, Club Kodiak, Eppleworth Adult Centre, and of course Pegasus Community Project (the “P” in PIFF!)
