Presented by Bird On Stage Productions, PIGEON! (The Cactus Cut) is a surreal indie theatre experience that takes a sledgehammer to conventional storytelling. Written by Garrett (M. Ryan) Abrams, and co-directed by Robert Leitner and Garrett Abrams. This electric and absurdist play explores loneliness, inherited trauma, and the strange things we build (and destroy) while trying to connect with each other.
With a kaleidoscope of characters and a darkly funny, unexpectedly emotional edge, PIGEON! is part fever dream, part therapy session, and part theatrical dare.

SYNOPSIS:
In North York, John is an outcast, desperate to escape his isolation. Living in the shadow of the Holocaust and burdened by an inherited weight he cannot define, he takes fate into his own hands, building himself a companion, no matter the cost. But as his creation takes shape, John is forced to confront the horrors lurking beneath his own skin. First written in 2017, Pigeon! is a darkly surreal tale of loneliness, obsession, and the things we destroy in our search for connection. Pigeon! will leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about longing and loss.
