REDefined: Voices from Turtle Island
Dignam Gallery | September 18 – October 1, 2025
Opening Reception: Saturday, September 20 | 1 – 4 PM
The Women’s Art Association of Canada is proud to present REDefined: Voices from Turtle Island, a group exhibition featuring artists from across Canada in recognition of Truth and Reconciliation Day.
Bringing together First Nations, Inuit, and Métis artists, the exhibition amplifies Indigenous voices, stories, and creative expression across a wide range of mediums—including painting, photography, beadwork, textile, and digital art. The works on view reflect both traditional practices and contemporary approaches, offering powerful insights into the intersections of history, identity, and resilience.
REDefined creates a space for reflection, dialogue, and celebration—honouring the past, acknowledging the present, and imagining a shared future grounded in respect and truth.
