Greetings children, it’s time to play
Ride the Cyclone follows six teens who perish in a freak roller coaster accident and find themselves caught between life and the afterlife, each given the chance to plead their case for a second shot at living. Through their unique voices and stories—ranging from humorous to heartbreaking—the show confronts big questions about what makes a life meaningful, how we define ourselves, and the impact we leave behind. It’s a thrilling, emotional ride that challenges audiences to reflect on mortality, purpose, and the unpredictable beauty of existence.
Critics have called RIDE THE CYCLONE “delightfully weird” (The New York Times), “loopier than The Rocky Horror Picture Show and funnier than Avenue Q” (The Globe and Mail), and “a work of pure genius” (Vancouver Sun). First developed by Victoria’s Atomic Vaudeville and written by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell, the show has since inspired fan art, TikToks, and sold-out runs across North America.
It’s a cult phenomenon that keeps growing — and now, it’s ready to take Toronto by storm again.
