The United Jewish People’s Order & The Morris Winchevsky Schools, Canada’s home for leftist Jewish culture is now more relevant and necessary than ever. UJPO has been keeping the flame of progressive Jewish education, culture, arts and language alive for a century, while maintaining an unshakeable commitment to social justice.
That’s right. We are gearing up for our mammoth, 100th anniversary! We will be officially starting our celebrations on December 8th, with a stellar lineup of cutting-edge musicians and brilliant speakers.
Over the last two heartbreaking years, UJPO has maintained a steadfast commitment to organizing, action and allyship. As more and more Jews turn away from institutions that are no longer compatible with their values, UJPO/MWS is more determined than ever to offer a vibrant, enriching home for the Jewish left, who advocate for Palestinian (and universal) human rights and dignity. To do this, we need to expand our resources.
