Robert Lee is a Toronto-based upright bassist, composer, and bandleader whose work blends contemporary jazz with Korean traditional music and storytelling. A graduate of Berklee Valencia, Lee leads The Robert Lee Group, a project that fuses jazz improvisation with Korean folk elements, earning him recognition as a 2025 Toronto Arts Foundation finalist for “Breakthrough Jazz Artist” and a contributor to the 2024 Juno-nominated album Little Bit a’ Love by Denielle Bassels.
